the room:
This is our biggest room, decorated with an Asian vintage motif. Pastel colors, Japanese panels on the walls, soft lighting and antique oriental art work.

The Geisha room has a full size double bed plus a full size futon, 2 closets and direct access to a shared bathroom. The bathroom is large and comfortable, and it is shared with only one other bedroom.

These rooms sleeps up to 4 people.

All rooms come with A/C, cotton sheets, bath and beach towels and a large picnic blanket, which can be used for the beach.

Every room also has a dream catcher, to protect your sleep and entice sweet dreams.


the house:
Right at the beach this gorgeous house is located in the gated community of Ocean Park, only 10 minutes away from the Historical Old San Juan and the airport.

The guesthouse consists of a main house with 7 bedrooms and one private apartment tucked in the back of the garden. Each room has been decorated with its own personality and charm.
The Dreamcatcher house is decorated in an eclectic manner, mainly with vintage furniture and collectibles. In the common area consists of a dining room, two lounging areas with rocking chairs and hammocks. A spacious living room that opens to the garden as well as a fully equipped Communal Kitchen with two cooking stations and an array of local spices and seasonings. The garden is protected by dozens of Buddha’s, which quietly sit among the fruit trees, the fountain and flowers. In addition there is an edible garden in the front of the house with fruits, vegetables and herbs, where guests are welcome to help themselves. There is also a small deck with an outdoor shower, perfect to rinse after the beach or to bathe under the stars.

The house is intimate, with many areas to find privacy as well as to come together with other guests and friends.


the neighborhood:
This beautiful neighborhood of Ocean Park is one of the very few areas in San Juan where you have direct access to the beach and no High Rises around.

All in walking distance you will find cozy cafes, amazing restaurants, fresh fruit stands, a yoga studio, a farmer’s market, grocery stores, boutiques, surf shops, hair- and beauty salons, only to name a few..

It is a very safe neighborhood and from our house it is only a 10 minute walk to Condado and Isla Verde, both highly touristic areas packed with more restaurants, spas and shops. The Historical Old San Juan is a 10 minutes car ride or a 30-40 minutes walk.

Staying in Ocean Park, you will enjoy more of a local flair than a mass tourism experience.

house services
Some of the services that we offer at the house are massages, yoga classes, dance classes, juicing and kombucha. We also have some great private tour guides. Their services include anywhere from airport transportation, to el Yunque expeditions, caves, and island tours.

Few times a month family dinners are planned, usually accompanied of local musicians, these are called bohemias. Bohemias are gatherings where street musicians come together to play latin classics.

Sylvia and Stephan will be your hosts, there are also two lovely golden retrievers, Pippa and Malda, who will receive you with enthusiasm!
